Jabber failures should be more descriptive

Failing to log in to jabber should return a more descriptive error message -- it's unclear what "We failed to connect" means. Including details about which account, server, and port were being used would be useful too (especially when looking at "show errors", since there's no indication of what we failed to connect to).
