:sub message * @cs.cmu.edu and :zpunt message * @cs.cmu.edu both do the expected thing. :sub message * *@cs.cmu.edu works fine, but :zpunt message * *@cs.cmu.edu doesn't.

Especially confusing is the fact that :show subs gives <message,*,*@cs.cmu.edu>.
