The BarnOwl Developers are pleased to announce the release of BarnOwl version 1.7.1. BarnOwl 1.7.1 is a minor bugfix release on top of BarnOwl 1.7.

It has been installed in the Athena locker, and you can download it from the website [1] or get the source from Github [2]. BarnOwl 1.7.1 fixes the following bugs:

• BarnOwl 1.6 introduced a drawing bug where the popwin may under some conditions use the message list's colors instead of its own.

• The viewuser command in BarnOwl 1.7 did not filter correctly when an unqualified (realm-less) user was given.

• Unqualified names in a cross-realm CC-d message now get the realm appended when replying, thanks to new developer Adam Glasgall.
